On Saturday 8th May, Glasgow University Ski & Snowboard Club will hold it’s AGM in the GUU. Afterwards we’ll head down to Deep 6 for the rest of the night.

Why I hear you ask!… All I do is drink/study/sleep and never want to see a treadmill in my life!

Many reasons:

SRS membership is how sport at Glasgow (including Snowsports) are funded. If you do not join you are leaving the burden of sports funding on every other student who has paid. This is much like tax evasion, is unfair and wrong. People will look at you and whisper. You may go to hell.

Membership of the SRS is required for any travel in the GUSA minibuses. No membership=no insurance=minibus drivers Fraser and Ben arrested. Bad times.

GUSA will cancel your GUSSC membership! Sad but true. Which means No Trips North, No BUSC, No lessons, No competitions. And No refund.

Join by 4 Feb and no harm done! Fail to join and membership deleted.

This is compulsory for all sports clubs-not just GUSSC.

It’s only £45, includes all the Stevie sports facilities, and is even good for you! Now where did I put that lycra…
